The story behind
Vajra (རྡོ་རྗེ་) represents strength, indestructibility and Will to Action. Its five prongs symbolise the five elements of the outer, physical reality as well as five elements of psycho-physical being - the five Skandhas, or aggregates. It also represents the 5 Buddha families. In ancient times it was known as the mythical weapon of the god Indra. Wearing it protects from malevolent influences and indecisiveness.
